Lawyer + DJ + (sometimes) Writer
Writing in the third person is bizarre but seems to be the done thing for these sorts of things. So here goes... Laura is a lawyer, she djs often and seemingly, of late, writes less often. A King’s College London alumna, by “day” she is a legal & business affairs manager at Universal Music. By “night” she moonlights as a DJ, writer & creative consultant.Playing across multiple genres Laura is currently a resident DJ at Soho House & Nike London and hosts a monthly radio show-cum-podcast on Know Wave's d.i.y radio station.In addition to selecting tunes, Laura has written for the likes of i-D, Clash, Dazed Digital, Coeval & Vice.Laura has always been super interested in and motivated by innovation, how we structure and strategise in business and how we protect, incubate and scale creativity. Laura is also really excited about the experimental. She wants to see how she can push the boundaries a little bit whether its challenging a room whilst djing or encouraging a subject she is writing about to delve deeper or think more laterally. She gets really excited by the juxtaposition of things that shouldn't work together, working together. *and scene*
